With its 7km long beach Chintsa rocks as a kitingsurfing destination in South Africa. With good kitingsurfing on both north-east and south-westerly winds, ample space and a lagoon to learn and practice on, Chintsa is a definate stop on the kitingsurfing route of South Africa.

Within easy distance of several of the best surf spots in South Africa, Chintsa is the perfect spot to act as base camp. Chintsa beach break and point are right on the doorstep and if they're not working you can be sure to find somewhere close that is!
Although Chintsa is known for surf, it is not a well known kitesurfing destination in South Africa as of yet...maybe keeping it a secret is good for now ;)
