As the sun sets so the Skebengas come to the bar to enjoy a casual chat and a little drink to toast the day. The Skebenga bar is a laid back affair with a pool table and dining area. Best of all is the view that will remind you that you have landed your pretty derriere in paradise! Winter time heralds the lighting of our cozy fire. Our pub stocks most mainline drinks and mixers.

Buccaneers Backpackers has a fully functional internet cafe with broadband access so that you can keep in touch with your Facebook buddies whilst you enjoy your stay with us. In addition to our desktop computers we also offer wireless access in the reception & bar area where you are welcome to connect with your own device.

Buccaneers is famous for its afternoon activities with free wine! A range of activities are on offer throughout the week from volleyball tournaments to expeditions to the giant dunes for sun-downers - check our activity board outside reception daily.

Sunday morning sees the Skebengas of Saturday night in need of a little sustenance. Free breakfast for all! Enjoy the stunning morning views from the deck of the main house while you tuck into a fresh & tasty breakfast.

Perhaps not officially a Buccaneers "Facility" but how can we not mention that we're situated within seconds of the stunning Cintsa beach! With easy beach access from the bottom of our property you can't ignore the white sandy beach and warm Indian Ocean calling you everyday!

Local Xhosa School Concert

A part of our free activity schedule, all Buccaneers guests are invited to join the Bulugha Farm School Feeding Scheme Concert on Thursday afternoons. The Bulugha choir will serenade you with traditional Xhosa songs (as well as a few songs you may know better!). Take this free opportunity to immurse yourself into Xhosa culture, see the workings of a rural South African school and spend a little time with the kids. This concert is an integral part of running the school Feeding Scheme which ensures that all children at Bulugha receive 2 nutritious meals a day. Any donations given at the concert will go directly into funding this vital part of the kids lives.
